Why Join the LHPCA?

The Langston Hughes Parents for Choral Arts is the primary support organization for the Choral program at Hughes Middle School.

Our MISSION is to create musical, social, and educational opportunities and activities for LHMS Choral Arts students by providing means to fund musical events and activities that will academically and musically enrich the education of LHMS Choral Arts students while advocating for the value of participation in choral music.

Your membership ensures each student in the choral program will be able to participate in all extracurricular events and performance opportunities throughout the year. Members also are called upon to help facilitate, recruit, and staff our concerts, shows, and field trips.

As students are only with us for two years, each membership (one per student/household) lasts for two years (7th and 8th grade).
